IAART Cultivating Community

This program is part of the I Am A Rural Teacher Campaign (IAART), a joint project between the Rural Schools Collaborative and the National Rural Education Association. As a part of the ongoing campaign to share the features and perspectives of rural teachers across the United States, IAART is launching this project to highlight the ways in which rural school communities benefit students.

Each month, one submission will be selected as our Cultivating Community feature. The chosen nomination will award a $250 classroom grant for the submitting teacher as well as a feature story about their school community shared across the IAART network. If your submission is not selected, it will continue to be considered in each subsequent month.
