Christmas Daddies Application to Perform

DUE DATE for video submissions & application form is 
the Tuesday following Thanksgiving Monday in October

Note: Your application and video submission is considered an "audition".
 If selected, you will be invited to perform on the show.
Please note, we will be prerecording (in advance of the show) in some regions,
dates and locations to be announced later.

Please note we will only select Christmas songs for performances on the Christmas Daddies Telethon.

The length of your performance cannot exceed 3 minutes 30 seconds.

We require the completed application and a video of the selection
you want to perform on the Telethon. 

Your video audition can be recorded on a phone,
it does not need to be fancy, but should be well lit (not dark),
do not stand with your back to a window
and use the best sound quality available to you.

It is extremely important
your video is labelled with the performer name
and not the preassigned file name automatically assigned
when you record on a phone.

Submitting a Talent Application Form and video
does not guarantee your performance will be included in the live broadcast.
All talent submissions will be considered by Telethon producers.

All applicants will be contacted after all applications
have been reviewed.
The review process is lengthy and your patience in waiting for a response from Christmas Daddies is greatly appreciated.

Please note, we cannot accept performances that exceed three minutes and 30 seconds in length

The Christmas Daddies selection committee reserves the right to request some applicants to perform with the house band. If you are selected to perform with the house band you will be requested to provide the sheet music three weeks prior to the telethon broadcast date.

Submitted video must be applicant's performance of the selection to perform on the Telethon.

The file name of video must include name of the performer (It should not be preassigned file name your phone assigns).

Videos must be sent before the application deadline Tuesday after Thanksgiving (October). We suggest via WeTransfer.com to Christmas.Daddies@bellmedia.ca but you can choose an alternate method, kindly let us know how the file will be sent.

If selected to perform on the Christmas Daddies Telethon, I hereby assign and grant to Christmas Daddies the right and permission to use and publish the photographs/film/videotapes/electronic representations and/or sound recordings made by me (or my appointed representative) and submitted by me (or my appointed representative) to Christmas Daddies.

I hereby release Christmas Daddies from any and all liability from such use and publication including, but not limited to, all Christmas Daddies social media platforms.

I hereby authorize the reproduction, sale, copyright, exhibit, broadcast, electronic storage and/or distribution of said photographs/film/videotapes/electronic representations and/or sound recordings without limitation at the discretion of Christmas Daddies and I specifically waive any right to any compensation I may have for any of the foregoing.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are chosen to perform on the Christmas Daddies Telethon we ask that you do NOT make the announcement of your participation on your own socials until after we have made the announcement on our official Christmas Daddies social channels.
