  • 2021 SUMR Program Application

    Thank you for your interest in the SUMR Program at the University of Pennsylvania. This program is open nationwide to rising undergraduate sophomores, juniors or seniors interested in exploring the field of health services research. To apply to the SUMR Program, please complete this Online Application. In addition to the online application form, we also require two letters of recommendation. Instructions for submitting the supplemental documents are listed on the SUMR website (http://ldi.upenn.edu/sumr/application). When you apply you will also be automatically added to the LDI External Newsletter listserv.

    The two letters of recommendation should address something important about the applicant, including a description of academic and personal characteristics, especially related to research aptitude; the recommender should send the letter as an attachment to an email directly to Joanne Levy (levyj@wharton.upenn.edu) with the applicant name in the subject line.
