Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s) 

 Thank you for supporting our school. All parents signed an agreement about parent responsibility prior to receiving a Chromebook. Parents must ensure that the Chromebook is returned to Carter G. Woodson School in the same shape it was given to the parent/guardian. If the child breaks the Chromebook or spills something on the Chromebook, you will not receive a replacement and the parent/guardian is responsible to pay for the damaged device. If a device is not working and we send it back to the manufacturer, and the manufacturer tells us that the device was damaged due to a spill or a drop and it is not a defect, the parent/guardian is still responsible to pay for the damaged device. CGW will not release records or diplomas unless the parent pays, in full, for the damaged device.
