• Texas Arbor Day Contest Submission Form

  • Thank you for participating in the "Make Your Own Scavenger Hunt" 2020 Texas Arbor Day Activity Contest!

  • Winners

    10 Winners will be announced on November 6, 2020 during theVirtual Texas Arbor Day Celebration (For more information on how to watch,visit: tfsweb.tamu.edu/arborday)*

    Winners will receive:

    • An official certificate of recognition for your work in helping educate fellow Texans about trees and forests.
    • One native Texas tree that you can plant in your yard, at your school, or in your community.
    • The scavenger hunt you create will also be added to the education resources on the Texas A&M Forest Service website so that students from all over the state can try YOUR activity!

    *Winners will also be notified via email.

    • If you are under 18 , please make sure that your parent or guardian has read and agreed to these terms before you submit photos, text, or other content or information to Texas A&M Forest Service.
    • Participants/winners must be current K-12 students in the state of Texas (public, private, or homeschool.)
    • With the exception of creator(s) name and town, all information included in this form will remain confidential and will not be shared in any way, with anyone, for any reason outside of Texas A&M Forest Service staff.
    • Submitting this form does not automatically mean you are a winner of the contest. All submitted scavenger hunts will be reviewed and judged by Texas A&M ForestService based on creativity, forest and tree content, and ability to get people outside exploring trees and forests safely.
    • All scavenger hunt content must be appropriate for families and children under 18. 
    • By submitting this form and an electronic copy of your scavenger hunt activity card, you agree that your name(s) (First & Last), town/city, and copy of your work may listed on the Texas A&M Forest Service education resource website for public download.
    • If you do not wish to have your name, grade, or city of residence announced and listed publicly but would still like to be considered in the contest and notified via the email provided, please check the "I wish to remain anonymous" box below. You may also select "List first name(s) only."
