For the past few months, we have done everything within our power to try to bring world-class live music safely to the Hudson Valley. To give musicians a chance to play. To give our community members more opportunities to work. And to give fans the chance to safely enjoy an outdoor concert.

Over the last seven weeks, we worked closely with the Governor's office on guidance for the safe execution of ticketed live performances. We created a set of best practices for outdoor entertainment safety protocols. We tried to do it right; we spent a lot of money trying to raise the bar on the safety of live seated concerts but unfortunately - to no avail. The Governor's office is not prepared to issue guidance on live ticketed outdoor performances at this time.

Thank you to our community of artists and fans for your patience throughout this process. We'll just have to wait a little bit longer to experience concerts in our beautiful new home in the Hudson Valley - and we can't wait to welcome you to a show just as soon as we are allowed to!

As we continue to monitor the current situation, our team is communicating to the best of our ability. Our staff is limited and working around the clock to ensure everyone's provided the most up to date information we can regarding the status of upcoming shows and events.

We encourage everyone to whatever they can to keep each other safe, including social distancing or self-isolating as they see fit. And likewise, to continue to support local small businesses when they feel they safely and smartly can.

This is a daunting challenge for all small businesses at this moment. As a independent music venue/restaurant/private events space, we take great pride in our role in our community and to our team. We know that City Winery plays an important role in your life as a music fan and we need your support now more than ever.
