Lee District Disability Traffic Stop Training Pilot
Please fill out the form if you have an interest in participating in this project on January 12th and 14th, 2021 from 10 AM-12 PM. People who sign up will be randomly assigned a time in that range. This pilot project is to provide an opportunity for people with disabilities to practice interacting with the police in a traffic stop. The person with a disability will drive a vehicle and do a practice traffic stop with a real police officer in a controlled environment. This pilot is a community service brought to us by the Fairfax County Police Department in conjunction with Lee District, Rachna Sizemore Heizer (School Board Member), and The Arc of Northern Virginia.
