Client Code of Conduct
At Advanced PetCare of Oakland, we strive to create an environment to ensure comfort for our patients, their families, and our staff to attend to the dogs, cats, and small mammals that you entrust to our care. In order to provide a welcoming and safe environment for everyone, we will not accept the following behaviors: Verbal abuse, malicious or harmful statements about others, profanity or disrespect directed at any member of our staff Any form of harassment including cyberbullying, discriminatory comments, and/or threats, etc. Physical intimidation or assault Any objectionable behavior that disrupts our business and disturbs our veterinarians, technicians, support staff, clients, and/or patients. This policy is strictly enforced, and non-compliance will result in corrective measures being taken. In the event your behavior is problematic, we reserve the right to discontinue services immediately. These policies are strictly enforced and non-compliance could result in being asked to leave the premises, and up to termination of the doctor/patient relationship.
Payment Agreement
I assume responsibility for all charges incurred in the care of my/our animal(s). I also understand that these charges will be paid at the time of release and that deposit may be required for surgical treatment. I understand that if I do not cancel my appointment with a minimum of 24 hours ahead of time there will be a cancellation fee. Any unpaid balance will be sent to collections, for which I agree to reimburse Advanced PetCare of Oakland the fees of any collection agency, which may be based on a percentage of 32% of the total amount plus 7% interest, as well as costs and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees we incur in such collection efforts.
