Membership of HAB is open to anyone who is interested in furthering its purposes, and who, by applying for membership, has indicated their agreement to become a member and acceptance of the duty of members set out in the Constitution (paying particular attention to Clause 9), a copy of which can be downloaded here.
There are two classes of membership:
- Full Membership - £10 per year, get to vote at our annual general meeting (AGM)
- Associate Membership - free, can join us at our AGM, but without the opportunity to vote
A member may be:
- An individual,
- A corporate body,
- Or an individual or corporate body representing an organisation which is not incorporated.
The charity trustees:
- May refuse an application for membership if they believe that it is in the best interests of HAB for them to do so;
Member duty
It is the duty of each member of HAB to exercise their powers as a member of HAB in the way they decide in good faith would be most likely to further the purposes of HAB.
Payment
HAB requires full members to pay £10 per year to maintain their membership.
