Combined ‘Junior/Senior’ Group Categories
- For 10 years and over
- Minimum group size is 3
- Routines entered must be different to “Whole Club Group” entries
- Each group must consist of both Junior and Senior aged gymnasts
- For fairness, group split must always be weighted either equally or in the case of odd numbered groups in the favour of junior gymnasts by 1.
Please see the table below that explains the split rule:
Group Size - Split
3 Gymnasts - 2 Junior / 1 Senior
4 Gymnasts - 2 Junior / 2 Senior
5 Gymnasts - 3 Junior / 2 Senior
6 Gymnasts - 3 Junior / 3 Senior
7 Gymnasts - 4 Junior / 3 Senior
8 Gymnasts - 4 Junior / 4 Senior
9 Gymnasts - 5 junior / 4 Senior
10 Gymnasts - 5 Junior / 5 Senior
11 Gymnasts - 6 Junior / 5 Senior
… and so on following same split rule.
Gymnasts may perform in a higher age range, but not in a younger one than their age.
Please note that if a Gymnast performs in an age range which does not cover their actual age (at your request) they will be unable to perform in another age category in any other group entry.
Groups or individuals will be disqualified if they are found to be in the incorrect age group or have entered into multiple age groups.
