What to expect when starting a custom home project…
At the design consultation, be prepared to discuss your lifestyle, architectural details, style and what you want and need in your kitchen, bath or entertainment spaces. Be sure to have any inspirationals or design concepts ready along with any questions at this time.

Custom cabinetry from Majestic Custom Designs is completely handcrafted from start to finish in our workshop. We work with you to determine the best solutions for your space, we meticulously design, build and stain or paint the cabinets to your exact  pecifications. While manufactured cabinets can achieve your goals on tighter timelines, custom cabinets enable another level of perfection and personalization. Keep in mind that this process can take up to a minimum of 2-3 months from start to completion. Upon signing a contract and receiving you initial deposit, you will be placed on our work schedule. We maintain contact with you throughout the process to ensure you are part of the whole scheme of it all. You will receive updates periodically on your project and status. Along with the professional hand drawn renderings you will receive upon contract signing you
can expect the following as well:

1. Within approx. 2 weeks you will receive architectural renderings to scale to be signed off on. You will meet with the designer to approve these once ready.
2. You should expect a call to schedule your “Raw Viewing” appointment within 3-4 weeks, along with instructions on choosing your handles/pull/knobs prior to this meeting.
3. Raw Viewing: Expect to be able to see your project standing within 3-4 weeks (depending on project size). At this time you will come to our manufacturing facility and see your structure standing. You will choose your trim, color, doors, and be able to make any last changes at this point before it goes into finishing. If we are color matching an existing piece for you, we will need a sample labeled with your name and phone number at this time. Once you have made your selections and signed off on them we can no longer change any of this.
4. You will receive updates regarding the status of your project, along with reminders if you have not chosen your accessories prior to this time. We will need your handles/knobs, etc available upon installation to install without an additional fee. If you are scheduling stone tops or stone backs we will need to have all this coordinated as well prior to delivery. Keep in mind that when you are having stone tops placed we will not be able to complete the project in entirety until the stone has been installed. (Ex. Kitchens, baths, bars, etc)
5. Once your project has come out of the finishing department we will schedule your delivery. We will need an area to deliver in home or garage where pieces will not be disturbed. Once delivery has been completed you will receive a call to schedule your installation if this has not already been done.

Keep in mind that when you build custom you get just that! You have control over every detail that goes into your project. The sizes are done to fit every nook and cranny to perfection, and the design and color is created to enhance your style and preferences.

This is a timely process, but so worth the end result!
