Grant Request
Because every disaster is different and there are various needs when a crisis arises, the HEART Fund is intended to help the victims of disasters directly. For example, previous HEART Fund grants have gone to feed victims, repair their homes, pay deductibles on churches that have been destroyed, and provided gift cards so victims can purchase much needed items. While this is not a complete list of what HEART Fund grants can be used for, it is an example of how these funds are to be given directly to those affected. HEART Fund grants are not intended to support established disaster response teams or other entites such as the American Red Cross, but rather the victims themselves.

Funds approved for distribution will be disbursed in the most economical means to accomplish the most effective distribution of the funds.
