                          JUNE 15-19 M-TH: "EMBRACE THE MESS " with Ms. Eryn, K4/K5, 10-11 AM

                           Step away from the templates and let’s embrace the mess. In this open-ended self guided summer art camp the focus will be on the journey and not the end product. Your child will explore a variety of materials from clay to pay to recycled treasures, while making their own choices, building confidence as they build the project, making decisions and letting their imagination soar.                           JUNE 15-19, M-TH: "ANIMAL MAGIC" with Ms. Ann, Grades 1st/2nd, 10-11 AM

                          From clay to carboard to newspaper, Ms. Ann will help you create a variety of cool animals you can pick up and take home at the end of camp (Yep we are going to need drying time). So dust off those shirts with paint on them and grab your worst pair of shorts as our hands could be up to our elbows in some of our projects and come create with us!             MUST HAVE 5 REGISTERED STUDENTS FOR CAMP TO MAKE

                          JUNE 15-19, M-TH: "CLAY & CANVAS" with Ms. Olga, Grades 3rd-6th, 10-11:30 AM

                          Put your hand into the cool feeling of all kinds of clay and create something unusual both free standing and on a canvas. Ms. Olga will introduce you to all kinds of clay from modeling clay to air dry clay, to clay on canvas.                           TUESDAY AFTERNOONS ONLY IN JUNE: "KITES, CASTLES & COLORS" With Ms. Lynn, Tuesdays 4-5 pm, GRADES 3rd-5th

                          classes will meet June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 (5 classes):           Let your child’s imagination soar each week as young artists 3rd-5th grade explore a world of creativity through watercolors, paper collages, pastels, and mixed media. We will work on creating “dreamy” landscapes, whimsical castles, and high-flying kites using techniques the old masters Van Gogh and Matisse used to create similar masterpieces.  MUST HAVE 5 REGISTERED STUDENTS FOR CLASS TO MAKE.

                          JULY 6-9, M-TH: "SCIENCE ART" with Ms. Abbie, GRADES K-2nd, 10-11 AM

                          :   is the perfect mix of messy fun and creative discovery for our K–2nd grade artists! In this hands-on class, students will explore the exciting world where science and art collide. From stretching and swirling homemade slime to creating colorful masterpieces with squeegees and bubble painting, every project is designed to spark curiosity and imagination. Students will experiment with textures, colors, and simple science concepts while making art they’ll be proud of. Why do bubbles make those cool patterns? How does slime stretch and move? We’ll explore these questions in ways that are playful, engaging, and easy to understand for young learners.   This class is all about exploration, creativity, and a little bit of mess!                           JULY 6-9, M-TH, "CLOTH AS CANVAAS" with Ms. Ann, GRADES 3rd-6th, 10-11:30 AM

                          this class can bring a whole new look to some of your favorite clothing like jeans and t-shirts and tennis shoes! Everything you work on is yours already. STUDENTS WILL NEED TO BRING a clean, washed 100% white cotton t-shirt, a pair of washed white tennis shoes, and your favorite old pair of jeans-washed and ready to go to the class. We will be t-shirt painting, doodling shoes, appliqueing jeans, making a multifiber scarf. So much to do, but then none of your clothes will look like anyone else’s!!!      MUST HAVE 5 STUDENTS REGISTERED FOR THIS CAMP TO MAKE.

                          JULY 13-16, M-TH: "BTS ART" Beads, Tiles, and Sea Glass" with Ms. Abbie, GRADES 4th-6th, 10-11:30 AM

                          BTS is a hands-on art class designed especially for creative 4th–6th grade students who are ready to shine! In this class, students will explore a variety of mixed-media techniques using glass, resin, sea glass, beads, and tiles to create unique, eye-catching pieces of art. From sparkling mosaics to beaded wall hangings, each project is a chance to experiment, build skills, and let creativity take center stage.   We’ll “Dynamite” our creativity with bold colors and textures, and students will have “Permission to Dance” with their imagination as they design one-of-a-kind masterpieces. Along the way, they’ll learn basic techniques for safely working with materials like resin and glass while developing their artistic voice in a fun, supportive environment.  Whether your child is a budding artist or just loves to create, BTS: Beads, Tiles, and Sea Glass is the perfect place to make something beautiful, make new friends, and let their creativity sparkle!      MUST HAVE 5 STUDENTS REGISTERED FOR THIS CAMP TO MAKE.

                          JULY 13-16, M-TH, "PNP: POOL NOODLE PROJECTS" with Ms. Ann, GRADES 1st-3rd, 10-11 AM

                          Pool noodles are no longer just for swimming, they are great for making pom pom shooters, rocket flingers, pool noodle horse, pool noodle boats ready to race and if time, a pool noodle sculpture. Everything goes home to have more fun and many you can recreate at home yourself!         MUST HAVE 5 STUDENTS REGISTERED FOR CAMP TO MAKE.

                          Taking what we did in the first session of classes in June, we will expand and push  your child’s imagination to continue to explore a world of creativity through watercolors, paper collages, pastels, and mixed media. We will work on creating “stellar landscapes, whimsical dragons and dungeons, and high-flying japanese kites using techniques the old masters Van Gogh and Matisse used to create similar masterpieces. MUST HAVE 5 STUDENTS REGISTERED FOR CLASS TO MAKE.
