Merchandise is accepted for consignment for a period of 60 days, with a price reduction of 15% after 30 days.

The consignor receives 50% of the selling price.

Checks are mailed by VTH within 45 days of the sale. A nominal check processing fee will be deducted.

Due to the volume of consignors we partner with, Village Treasure House does not notify consignors when items expire. After 60 days, unsold items are considered a donation. The consignor will receive a donation letter for tax purposes.

The consignor may retrieve any item from the selling floor prior to the pickup date. This date is listed in the Item List Email and is also available by logging into the Customer Center on our website. It is the consignors’ responsibility to be aware of the pickup date if they wish to retrieve items.

Seasonal items are accepted within 90 days of holiday and become a donation if unsold by holiday.

The consignor is subject to a $20.00 check fee for all re-issued checks.

Village Treasure House reserves the right to select items to be marketed online as well as the display locations of items in our showroom.

The consignor acknowledges that he/she is consigning all items at HIS/HER OWN RISK and VILLAGE TREASURE HOUSE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for any loss due to fire, breakage, theft or any unforeseen cause.
