    Cross-Institutional Enrolment - Required Information
  • The following information is required in order to provide statistical information to the Commonwealth as part of Government reporting requirements. This is the Government’s preferred way of improving the method of gathering data on socioeconomic status, resulting from their Advancing Equity and Participation in Higher Education study of 2007.

    Please visit studyassist.gov.au for further information. Students must submit a Request for FEE-HELP Assistance form for each new course of study, and will receive further instructions via email. 

    Overseas Students - please note:

    + An 'Overseas Student' is someone who is studying in Australia under a Student visa. Tuition fees for Theology students not residing in Australia, but studying online are charged at the domestic rate.

    The information provided by overseas students to the provider (the Australian College of Theology) may be made available to Commonwealth and State agencies and the Fund Manager of the Educational Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Assurance Fund, pursuant to obligations under the ESOS Act 2000 and the National Code; and the provider is required, under section 19 of the ESOS Act 2000, to tell the Department about: (i) certain changes to the student’s enrolment; and (ii) any breach by the student of a student visa condition relating to attendance or satisfactory academic performance.

    • 48cps per six-month period is considered a normal full-time enrolment
    • No more than 60cps of units can be concurrently enrolled

    Please ensure that you have checked your Course Planner prior to enrolling in any units - it is the student's responsibility to ensure they are enrolling at the right level. 

  • * An AUDIT enrolment allows a student to participate in on-campus classes, but does not require the completion of coursework and cannot be credited towards any type of award. Access to some course materials may be restricted for auditing students. ONLY On-Campus or Livestream units may be audited. 


  • Graduation

  • Students who expect to complete their course requirements at the end of this semester are required to complete the Graduating Student Notification (GSN) as part of this semester's enrolment process.

  • Important Dates & Variation of Enrolments

    1. 'Variation to Enrolment' forms are available on Moodle and must be submited online no later than 5pm on the dates specified above. Please call or email before 5pm on that date if you have any difficulties submitting your form. For more information see the Morling and the ACT Variation to Enrolment Policy.

    2. Withdrawal from a unit after the Census Date will attract a fail (F) grade.

    3. Adding a unit after that unit's Admin Date requires special approval and will attract a Late Enrolment Fee – contact the Registrar’s Office for details.

    4. Grievance Resolution - The ACT's Grievance Resolution Policy for Domestic Students and the Grievance Resolution Policy for Overseas Students are available on the ACT website (www.actheology.edu.au)

    5. Refunds of Tuition Fees - Candidates who withdraw after the Census Date of a unit and wish to apply for a Tuition Fee Refund (TFR) must apply in writing, using the form available on Moodle and attaching a copy of the Australian College of Theology Tuition Fee Refund application form. This form and policy can also be found on the Australian College of Theology website (www.actheology.edu.au)

    6. Dates for units in Intensive and Summer School mode will not necessarily correspond to the regular semester dates – see the Course and Unit Guide or Morling website for Enrolment, Admin and Census date details for these units.

    7. Dates for Field Education Units will not necessarily correspond to the regular semester dates above – see the Course and Unit Guide or Morling website for Enrolment, Admin and Census date details for these units.
  • Student Declarations

  • I apply to be enrolled in the Course and Units set out above and agree that, upon acceptance, I will be enrolled at the Australian College of Theology (ACT) on the terms set out above.

    Unless I am applying for a non-ACT Cross-Institutional enrolment, or Single Unit Study, I note that I am enrolling in units contributing to the completion of a course of the Australian College of Theology and I declare my intention to complete this course of study. 

    Should I be accepted as a student of the Australian College of Theology, I will abide by its rules and policies. I understand that I can access the rules and policies relating to my course and my enrolled units on the website of the Australian College of Theology at www.actheology.edu.au

    In particular, I acknowledge that I have read, understand and accept:

    • the Grievance Resolution Policy for Domestic/Overseas Students; and
    • (if I am an overseas applicant) the ACT Refund Policy and Agreement for Overseas Students.

     I also understand that:

    • The Australian College of Theology is collecting information in this form for the purpose of assessing my eligibility for the Higher Education Loan Program under the Higher Education Support Act 2003 and allocation of a Commonwealth Higher Education Student Support Number to me; and for program administration purposes, including the viewing of survey data by relevant parties.

    • The Australian College of Theology will disclose this information to the Australian Government as required under the Higher Education Support Act 2003. 

    • The Australian Government is required to store the information securely.

    • The Australian College of Theology may disclose information to government departments in relation to transport concessions.

    • The Australian College of Theology and the Australian Government will not otherwise disclose the information without my consent unless required or authorised by law.

    • My information may be sent to software vendors in order for me to access software relevant to my course at reduced rates, and not on-sold to any provider.

    • Work submitted in relation to this course may be submitted to organisations for academic integrity assurance.

    • I adhere to the Christian faith and have read the Community Code and the applicable Student Code of Conduct Policy found on the Morling College website.
    • I understand the purpose of Morling College as a Christian College and have noted the expectations regarding personal conduct.
    • Submitting this application indicates my willingness to abide by the rules and regulations of Morling College and to adhere to the applicable policies as outlined on the Morling website (including the Community Code and Student Code of Conduct Policy referred to above).
      Note: the Community Code is applicable for continuing pre-2021 and new Morling students, but not mandated for those previously enrolled at Vose Seminary.
