We welcome submissions from researchers and microscopists of all career levels, focusing on:
- Microscopy Applications for Biology
- Microscopy Applications for Materials
- Development of Imaging Instrumentation and Tools
12 abstracts will be selected to give talks. Any submitted abstracts that are not offered a talk will be given the option of presenting a poster.
Deadline for submission for talks: 26th October
Please be aware that if you are chosen for a talk, you will be asked to pre-record the talk and send it to us in the appropriate format. We will send you detailed instructions on how to do this. You must then be available at the symposium to answer questions after your talk is given. Oral presentations will be 10 mins + 5 mins questions.
Deadline for submission for video posters: 7th November
A poster will be uploaded in video format and consist of 1 slide (or prezi etc) where the attendee is given 3 mins to give a poster overview. This can include animations and videos. Again, full instructions will be given should you require them.
Posters can be research-based or facility-based
A prize will be given for the best poster and the best talk, as voted for on the day
