  • If so do you understand and agree that it is absolutely imperative that the pigs and dogs of any age or size are never left unattended together for any period of time under any circumstances? This is strictly for the safety of the animals. Canines are predatory animals whereas pigs are prey animals. They do not speak the same language, and even if they seem to be best friends 99% of the time, all it takes is one incident to result in severe injury or worse.*

  • Are you willing to adopt a pig that has health/medical problems or special needs? This may include but is not limited to things like an over/underweight pig, one that has been known to show behavioral issues such as aggression(charging, biting, head swiping, etc.)?*

If so, do you understand that this will likely mean putting in a lot of extra time and effort to earn his or her trust and to get him or her comfortable being around you/your family? This may mean that you are unable to pet him or her for an unforeseeable period of time, are you prepared for that?*
