This SWMS Training will take approximately 15-25 minutes to comlpete. Please only start when you have this time available to fully complete it.
Every WARP TC will be required to complete this by Friday, November 13th. If you have not submitted a response before this date, then you will be asked to attend the office to complete in person. You will not be rostered after this date until this is complete - we encourage you to complete this ASAP to avoid disappointment.
The intent of updating the SWMS nationally and providing you with this format to consume is to ensure you are aware of the control measures for common risks and hazards we have identified and how WARP expects you to control those risks to keep you safe.
Your safety is our number one priority. This method statement has been developed in conjunction with each state to ensure that the information is correct and current and relates directly to the way you perform your work each day.
This updated SWMS will be accessible on any WARP tablet and will also be communicated to each employee. When you receive it, we encourage you to bookmark it on your phone, save as an iBook or save to a folder so that it iseasy accessible for you should you be asked for it by client or other Authority.
WARPS's expectation is that each of you will be able to present a copy if required on site (eg: if a client or the road authority requests it).
When you complete this assessment, your signature will be held on file against this document, which we will be able to present to any client or road authority who requests it.
The process for this assessment is that there will be pages of the SWMS presented to you and then a short multi choice quiz at the end to cover off on important points to ensure your understanding of the safe work methods we have provided to you.
