ACI Aggregate/Soils Base Testing Technician Exam

Event Description:

The two-hour examination is open-book and consists of approximately 100 multiple-choice questions.

The performance examination is closed-book and requires actual demonstration of the required standards. The examinee is judged on his/her ability to correctly perform or describe all of the required procedures for each standard.

BE PREPRARED to actually demonstrate test procedures as shown in the Performance Checklist in the textbook.
ACI Soils -Aggregate Base Testing Technician Exam Cost:

$860/per person (includes textbook) - Tennessee Concrete Association Member

$1185/per person (includes textbook) - Non-member Tennessee Concrete Association

$250 - Retest (written or performance section)

Textbook and shipping is included in the cost of exam & sent via UPS upon receipt of payment. Materials will be shipped to the company address unless otherwise indicated.

Important Note about ASTM Standards

In some ACI publications the ASHTO standards are included but NOT the text of ASTM standards.
If you desire access to the actual ASTM standards as you prepare for your exam you may obtain the standards directly from ASTM international (www.astm.org).
In some cases, your employer may already have access to ASTM standards through a company subscription.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Substitutions allowed with prior permission from TCA office.
- No Show - is a student who does not attend the exam day. No refund.
- Change Exam Date or Cancellation - Notice sent to TCA office:
  - prior to 3 weeks of the exam date - Fee $25.
  - within 3 weeks of exam date- Fee $75.
