ACI Transportation Inspector Exam Registration

Event Description:

The three-hour written inspection examination is open-book and consists of approximately 80 multiple choice questions. The one-hour plans reading examination consists of approximately 20 questions and is designed to test the examinee’s ability to read and understand engineering drawings. The minimum passing grade for each examination is 70%. Recertification is necessary every five years, and requires current Field Technician certification and successful completion of the inspection and plans reading examinations.

It is suggested that we receive registration at least 5 weeks prior to exam date in order for study materials to be sent & allow study time.

$995/per person - Tennessee Concrete Association Member

$620/ per person - TN Concrete Association Member - No Textbook Materials

$1320/per person - Non-member Tennessee Concrete Association

$945/per person - Non-member Tennessee Concrete Association - No Textbook Materials

$250 - Retest (Written section or Plans Reading Section)

IMPORTANT Note about ASTM Standards:

The text of ASTM standards is no longer included in ACI publications.
If you desire access to the actual ASTM standards as you prepare for your exam you may obtain the standards directly from ASTM international (www.astm.org).
In some cases, your employer may already have access to ASTM standards through a company subscription.

Textbooks and shipping are included in the cost of the exam & sent via UPS upon receipt of payment. Materials will be shipped to the company address unless otherwise indicated.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Study manual is included in the registration fee, but no materials will be sent until payment is received in the TCA office.
Substitutions allowed with prior permission from TCA office. If student is unable to attend no refund will be issued if TCA has not been contacted by email to dsparkman@tnconcrete.org and phone at least two weeks prior to exam day.
Upon prior notification of a cancellation the student can be placed in the next available class, or a refund will be issued. If student does not attend the second exam session, a refund (less $125) will be issued and the student will have to re-register for a future exam session.

Registration is secured when payment is received.
