AUTUMN SPANISH BORDER ADVENTURE RIDE

September 19-22 2024

The Autumn Spanish Border Adventure Motorcycle ride is a 3 day Adventure ride which will take place on the border of Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico.

Arrive in Chama, New Mexico at the Elkhorn Lodge on Thursday Sept 19 for an included dinner Thursday night. The ride will Stage from the Elkhorn Lodge.

Enjoy an Epic Autumn 3 Day Adventure ride in late Sept – Friday to Sunday, when the trees are turning colors.

From Chama New Mexico, to Ojo Caliente Hot Springs to Taos, NM and back through Southern Colorado.

SPANISH BORDER Lodging & INFO

Day 1 Ride from Chama, along a wilderness boundary and headwaters from Chama, NM, to an old train depot for lunch, spend the night at Ojo Caliente Hot Springs Resort.

Camping is Included at Ojo Caliente.

Day 2 ride above & along and thru the Rio Grande Gorge, the southern San Luis Valley and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains on the High Road to Taos, NM.

Spend the Night at the Sagebrush Inn or the Lodging of your Choice in Taos.

Day 3 ride up a spectacular canyon to a NM ski resort, around an active mine, then around an old Volcano along a little seen section of the Rio Grande river to the oldest town in Colorado. Continue to Atonito and your choice of 2 routes for the last 50+ miles. EZ twisty Pavement or 1/3 off-road back to Chama.

Stay at the Elkhorn Lodge Sunday night if you wish and say Adios on Monday.

Join Exit Tours Motorcycle Club and your first ride is included in 2023.
No workdays, meetings or Politics. Just Join and Ride.

Exit Tours M/C rides are non-competitive, recreational club rides for members only paying for the amenities with the ride.
This ride is for licensed, insured riders with a street legal, quiet motorcycles with a USFS approved spark arrestor. We reserve the right to inspect any motorcycles.
These rides are not guided and there are no trail markings. You leave when you wish and we do not ride in large groups
Our rides comply with the USFS Club land use requirements.
By participating in ANY Club event every Club Member takes full and sole responsibility for their actions and well-being, without exception.
All participants are on their own, riding at their own pace, at their own risk, and always have the option to follow the designated route or to follow another route of their choosing.
