Have you had the chance to do any research on this breed? Persians and Himalayans are more prone to upper respiratory infections than some other breeds, so it’s important to be aware of this when considering one of our kittens.

Have you owned a cat before, or do you currently have one?

Are you aware that if your kitten is not spayed/neutered by us, you must have this done by six months of age to keep the health guarantee valid?

Please note that we may or may not spay or neuter your kitten prior to leaving our home, at our discretion. If we do, this will be included in the purchase price.If we do not, you are required to have your kitten spayed or neutered by six months of age, at your expense. There will be no discount if the procedure has not been completed before pick-up.This policy is being implemented to help protect our kittens. Sadly, we have had experiences with buyers misrepresenting their intentions—claiming a kitten would be a family pet, only for us to later discover it was being used for breeding. We value honesty and the well-being of our kittens above all, and this measure ensures they are placed only in loving, pet homes.*

If you’ve never owned a long-haired cat before, please consider the amount of fur you’ll inevitably have in your home. Even with regular brushing, you can expect to find some fur on your clothing, furniture, and other surfaces.Will this bother you to the point where you may feel the need to rehome your cat or kitten? If so, a long-haired breed may not be the right fit. Some owners choose to keep their Persians shaved shorter, which can help reduce shedding and make maintenance easier.

Do you currently have a veterinarian?(It’s perfectly okay if you don’t have one yet.)

Do you plan to allow your kitten outdoors at any time?*

Do you currently have any other pets (cats, dogs, or other animals)?If so, please keep in mind that introducing a new pet—especially another cat—can take time. Some hissing, growling, and even a bit of scuffling is normal during the adjustment period.*

If you have a dog, has it ever been exposed to cats?If so, how did it react? Please note that some dogs may get along well with an established cat but may not be as accepting of a new one.*

Are there any children in your home?If yes, what are their ages, and have they had experience being around cats or kittens? Please note: kittens are very small and fragile. While harm is never intentional, accidents can happen if children are not carefully supervised and taught how to handle them gently.*

Is there a specific kitten you are interested in?(This helps us know exactly which kitten you are inquiring about.)*

If for any reason you are unable to keep your kitten/cat, what would your plan be?(Please remember—they are always welcome back here with us, no questions asked.)

Do you have a backup plan if your kitten/cat needs veterinary care and you are unable to cover the cost at that time?Veterinary care can be expensive, and it’s important to be prepared. The cost of purchasing a kitten is not a “one-time” expense—cats will require ongoing care, and unexpected medical bills can sometimes be significant (often well over $600). We want to ensure every kitten is placed in a home that is ready for both the joys and the responsibilities of ownership.*

Visitor PolicyFor the health and safety of our kittens, we do not allow visitors until the kittens are at least nine weeks old and have received their first vaccination. At that time:Visits are limited to two people.You must let us know in advance which kitten you are seriously interested in. We do not allow handling or exposure to all of the kittens.For safety reasons, we kindly ask that children do not visit the kittens (though we do love children!).These guidelines help protect our kittens while they are still very vulnerable and developing their immunity. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep them safe. *

I understand that deposits are non-refundable but transferable. We realize that life happens, so we allow a one-time transfer of your deposit, provided we are notified before your kitten reaches seven weeks of age. *

I understand that, unless prior arrangements have been made, kittens must be picked up within two weeks of the date they are ready to leave. Please be sure that you are both willing and able to travel to Springfield, MO for pick-up, as this has been an issue for some families after reserving a kitten.*

Pictures are typically taken every 2–2.5 weeks, as time allows. When photos aren’t available, we’ll do our best to share videos instead. Updates will be posted on both our Facebook page and our website so you can follow along as the kittens grow.
