Have you done any research on this breed? This breed is more prone to Upper Respiratory infections.

Do you currently have, or have you previously owned a cat?

If you have ever owned a cat, are you familiar with the obligation of having your cat spayed or neutered? If not spayed or neutered by us, you must have this done by six months of age in order to receive our replacement/health guarantee.

** Please note that we may spay or neuter your kitten prior to it leaving our home, at our discretion. This is included in the price. If we do not, you must have them spayed or neutered by six months of age, at your expense. There is no discount if we do not spay/neuter. This is something new that we are implementing due to many unscrupulous buyers that have bought our kittens under the guise that their kitten was going to be a family pet, only for us to find out that they were going to be used for breeding. We appreciate honesty, and this is very disappointing. *

If you have never owned a long-haired cat before, please think about the amount of fur that you will inevitably have in your home. No matter how much you brush, you will have a certain amount of fur on your clothing, furniture, etcetera. Will this bother you to the point that you will want to find a new home for your cat or kitten? Some people do keep their Persians shaved short, and this does help eliminate some of these issues.

Do you ever have plans to let your kitten go outside?*

Do you have any other pets at this time? Cats, dogs, or other animals? If so, please be aware that it can take time for new pets, especially two cats to get along. There will be hissing, growling, and possibly some fighting. *

If you have a dog, has it ever been exposed to cats? If so, what was its reaction?*

Any children in the home? If so, what are their ages? Have they ever been around a cat or kitten? Kittens can be easily killed (and have been) by children. Not on purpose, but because they have not been supervised properly and taught how to treat a small animal.*

Is there a specific kitten that you are interested in? This helps us know who you are inquiring about.*

If for any reason you cannot keep your kitten/cat, what is your plan? What would you do with the kitten? They are always welcome back here with us, no questions asked.

Do you have a backup plan in the event that your cat/kitten needs to go to the vet and you can't afford vet care? Vet care can be very expensive, and I often get people asking me for a much less expensive kitten because they do not have a lot of money to spare. I understand this, but my question is, if you can't afford the price that these kittens cost, what will you do in the event that your kitten needs care that will cost well over $600? Buying a kitten is not a one and done financial deal. They will continue to accrue costs over time. *

We do not allow visitors until the kittens are at least nine weeks of age and have had their first vaccination on board. Since these babies are so vulnerable with not having all of their vaccinations, we limit the visit to two people, and you must tell us which kitten you are interested in prior to visiting. We don't allow exposure to all of the kittens, only the ones you have a serious interest in. We also do not allow children (who we love!) to visit the kittens. *

I understand that deposits are not refundable but are transferable. We understand that life happens, and in that case, we allow a onetime transfer as long as we are notified PRIOR to your kitten turning seven weeks of age. *

I understand that unless prior arrangements have been made, kittens must leave within two weeks from the date that they are able to. Please make sure that you are willing and able to drive all the way to Springfield, MO for pickup. This has been an issue for some people once they have reserved their kitten. *

Please note that I do work out of the home and my time is very limited. The soonest that a visit can be accommodated would be on a weekend afternoon.

Pictures are taken approximately every two-two and half weeks as time allows. They are posted to our Facebook page and our website.
