AP122 - Psi-Value Competency Scheme Application
Elmhurst Energy has developed a Psi-Value Training Course and Competency Scheme that gives an opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge to calculate Psi Values for building junctions. The course and voluntary scheme has been set up to offer additional validity/credibility of Psi-Value calculations produced by trained professionals.

Subsequent annual scheme renewal including assessments and CPD check: £295 + VAT

* The application fee is waived if you have completed an Elmhurst Psi-Value Competency training course.

If you have completed training via another provider, there will be an administration fee applicable. Please contact the On Construction Support Team at onconstruction-support@elmhurstenergy.co.uk for more information.

Note: If you are a company requiring assessors to be set up under your account and be billed for the annual renewal you will need to apply for a Corporate Account. In this case, each assessor will need to have their own individual accreditation through Elmhurst before you will be able to add them, as a member, to your Corporate Account.

Software
The training course will use the THERM package for 2D junction modelling and TRISCO package for 3D junction modelling. Following completion of the course candidates are free to use the software package of their choice.

A list of recognised software has been compiled by Elmhurst and will be provided during the course. Elmhurst will only recognise submissions using these products. If you wish to use a different software package, please contact Elmhurst.
CPD
As part of the Psi-Value Competency Scheme requirements members will need to complete 5 hours of CPD per membership year.

Once certified, members can find more details in the Elmhurst CPD Policy document located in the member's area of Access Elmhurst.

Payment of invoices by direct debit is free, non direct debit payments are subject to a surcharge of 3% (minimum of £3.00). We are now able to accept paperless direct debits. If you would like to sign up to direct debit please email accounts@elmhurstenergy.co.uk stating your account number. We will then send you a link which you will need to complete with your bank details. You will then receive a confirmation email letting you know you have successfully set up your direct debit.

If successful in my application I also agree to visit the Elmhurst Energy website on a regular basis (at least monthly) to ensure that I remain aware of any changes to the Terms, Standards or Codes that apply to the Elmhurst Energy Systems Accreditation Scheme.

I confirm that I have discussed this application with the bill payer who has agreed to pay all charges and lodgement fees for work I do on their behalf. If this comes into dispute then I agree to pay the account myself.
