Celebrating a Sacrament is an important step in the life of your child as a Catholic Christian. This year, your child will continue his/her faith journey in a very special way. It is a time of growth and understanding of how much mercy and love Jesus has for us.
Good Shepherd Parish has made some changes to our Reconciliation and First Communion programs.
Preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered through an online home program from our website. You will be given in advance all the materials and directions that you and your child need to successfully complete the preparation for these sacraments at your own pace. The parent will be responsible for teaching the program at home.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be celebrated on Saturdays prior to the 5pm evening mass. Once you have completed the preparation with your child, contact us and we will arrange a date.
The Sacrament of First Communion: Once you and your child have completed the online preparation for First Communion, please contact us and we will arrange a date.
Please complete the registration form below. Upon completion of the form an email confirming your registration will be sent to you at the email address you include in this form.
