Dear Hall of Fame Supporter,
The process for nominations for the National Show Hunter Hall of Fame will be different again this year. As we have our inductees for the 2023 awards banquet (John French, Scott Stewart, Alice Stuart, Lu Thomas and Tom Wright and horses Estrella and Henry The Hawk), we are only accepting nominations for Horse Show of the Year and Derby of the Year.
I would like to extend an invitation to you to submit nominations to the National Show Hunter Hall of Fame. Please find the very streamlined ballot at the bottom of this letter. Please note that you may also go to the Hall of Fame website (nationalshowhunterhalloffame.com) and nominate and pay your membership fee.
The shows and derbies receiving the most nominations will be placed on the voting ballot, which you will receive in March. Supporters of the Hall of Fame will vote on the nominees and elect the winners for 2023. The fee enabling you to nominate and vote begins with a minimum donation of $50. Any additional donation you would like to make will go toward securing a permanent location for the Hall of Fame. We are requesting that all nominations be submitted by January 15, 2024.
The Hall of Fame Dinner will be held at the Merion Cricket Club in Haverford, Pennsylvania, Tuesday, May 31st, during the Devon Horse Show.
