River Hero Home Rain Barrel Workshop

We have extra rain barrels kits available! We are offering the opportunity for our current River Hero Home members to add an additional barrel to their collection through a virtual workshop.

Rain barrels are made out of heavy-duty plastic 55-gallon drums and can be connected to the gutter downspouts, collecting rain runoff. Each rain barrel comes with a RainRecycle assembly kit from the Rain Barrel Depot to complete assembly (barrels are not sold ready-to-use). Barrels are provided to us by Coca-Cola Consolidated.

Fee is $50 and includes a rain barrel and rain barrel assembly kit.

Richmond area participants can pick up their barrel at the James A. Buzzard James River Education Center (2825 Dock Street, Richmond VA) on Tuesday, December 10th, 2024 between 4pm and 6pm. We will work with participants outside of the greater Richmond area on a pick up location, date and time.

Space is limited to 24 spots.

**IMPORTANT** You MUST have a vehicle capable of bringing the rain barrel(s) home with you! Dimensions of each barrel are 22.5" x 33.5"
