By signing this contract, I agree to the contractual employment of HOT Volleyball NYC, duties, and the rules according to the program. Failure to uphold any duties or follow rules will cause a deduction of payment and/or termination.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Attending practices, meetings, or …. On days scheduled promptly and punctually based off schedule
- Maintain a professional and respectable demeanor
- Avoid the usage of personal devices while coaching (unless taking attendance/contacting supervisor) Head Coach:
- Coordinate and supervise the running of HOT Volleyball practice(s)
- Managing & training Assistant Coaches on HOT Volleyball’s rules and regulations
- Communicate instructions clearly and effectively to athletes and assisting coaches
Assistant Coach:
- Managing attendance
- Assisting Head Coach run drills/games
- Helping athletes learn & follow Head Coach instructions
All Coaches:
- Maintaining a professional and upbeat energy
- Setting up & breaking down equipment (i.e. putting up the nets, assembling ball carts, sanitizing equipment before and after programs)
- Able to carry, push, pull objects with the weight of 45lbs - 50lbs
- Understandably, situations arise where you may not be able to attend a particular shift. If said situation surfaces, it is your responsibility to reach out to fellow coaches for a shift cover at least 72 hours (to the best of your ability) before said shift as well as make note of the issue to Traci Edwards (HOT Volleyball Founder). If you are unable to find coverage, you are still expected to show up and coach for your assigned shift.
