The Academy recognises the benefits of a diverse artistic community which reflects the wider population and welcomes membership applications from fine and applied artists from all sections of the community.   • Section B: Exhibition Selection in the past three years

    Please indicate which of the following applies and add dates and the venue. To be considered for membership applicants normally must have been selected for hanging in at least two South West Academy Open Exhibitions or, one South West Academy Open Exhibition and two from the following within the past three years.

  • Section C: Education and Experience

    Please list your most recent achievements in the following categories and provide further detail. You can attach a full cv with your application detailing the full breadth of your achievements and experience and so please be selective here. To be considered for membership applicants must have experience in at least three of the categories listed below.

  • If you are unable to meet these requirements but feel you should still be considered for membership, you can offer written justification in Section F of this application.

  • Section D: Further Experience in support of the Academy

    The Academy relies on the active participation of all its members to ensure the success of its exhibitions and educational remit. Please indicate your experience or interest in supporting the Academy in one or more of the following areas:
