Rider Experience
Focus on enhanced access to transit, safety/security, amenities, and customer information to improve rider experience
Did you know more than 90% of DART riders walk to their transit stop? One of the goals in this theme is focusing on improving paths to transit—like completing sidewalk gaps and making the walk more convenient, safe and accessible.

Mobility and Innovation
Advance mobility through innovation, technology and customer initiatives
DART proposes to develop Mobility Hubs as a way to reorganize how public and private services work together to better match our innovative GoPass app. Hubs can also include electric vehicle charging stations, bikes/scooters, and even locations for delivery pick up.

Service and Expansion
Target service improvements and expansion to support an equitable and sustainable network
This theme covers all DART services. As an example, DART is developing a new bus plan called DARTzoom, which may include more core frequent routes. This means we also need to invest in the streets where buses operate with things such as bus lanes and traffic signal priority.

Land Use and Economic Development
Integrate land use and transit planning to grow ridership and create livable communities
Transit works best when it operates in walkable, dense, mixed use areas. By working with public and private entities, we can better integrate transit with supportive land use plans. These efforts can provide economic benefits, promote equity, and improve quality of life.

Collaboration
Collaborate with public and private partners on transit supportive programs, policies and projects
DART knows that working together—at the local, state and federal level—is how things get done. For example, through local collaboration and federal partnerships, DART is working to implement its D2 Subway project to help sustain transit into the future.
