Facility & Equipment Use Policy
Please read and check each line indicating you have read and understood it.
Requesting a specific room will not guarantee use of that room. In consideration of the number of requests, room use will be assigned based on the size of group and type of activity. More than one group may be using different areas of the facility at the same time. Your group’s activities are limited to the area(s) approved and the restrooms.
All decorating, activities, and cleanup must be completed during the time requested.
User is responsible for setting up, taking down, and cleaning up after each use. This includes: Putting away all equipment you got out, vacuuming, checking the bathrooms for garbage overflows and/or flushing commodes, making sure there is no water running, turning off all lights, locking all windows and doors.
Tables, Chairs and other equipment are available for your use, and you may arrange them to fit your needs. When you are finished with your event, you must set the room back up the way you found it.
"If you plan to use the kitchen, you must complete a kitchen clean-up checklist. This checklist must be signed and returned to the church office. Carolyn Hutton will provide you with the Kitchen Checklist and will connect with you before you use the kitchen. Please be aware that children are not allowed in the kitchen."
Please do not adjust the thermostats. This will only interfere with their pre-programming. The thermostats will be set in advance and programmed to meet your needs at the time of your event.
Our policy is that equipment does not leave the church campus. If your access requires a key, please contact the church office to make arrangements: 360/892-4664.

NON-BRUSH PRAIRIE BAPTIST CHURCH MINISTRIES WAIVER Liability: The applicant agrees to assume full responsibility for injury to person and damage to property arising from the use of facility by applicant hereunder and agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend Brush Prairie Baptist Church from any and all claims and damages relating thereto. The applicant agrees that any disputes arising under this agreement will be resolved via a mutually acceptable alternative dispute resolution process OR the American Arbitration Association. A refundable security deposit may be required, as determined by the Business Administrator. I have read and understand the Use Policy.
