ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Before you proceed with this application please determine if you qualify to apply and if you have all of the following proper documentation. The application will not be able to be submitted without all required (*) fields completed.

To qualify applicants must;
- Must be a graduating high school Senior from a Sarasota or Manatee county school
- Be a resident of Sarasota or Manatee County
- Be a citizen, legal permanent resident, or national of the United States
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on an unweighted 4.0 scale
- Show evidence of readiness for and commitment to pursue college majors, including business, finance, biological / life sciences, physics, chemistry, social science, mathematics, engineering and other academic degree disciplines.
- Must submit a transcript
- Must present proof of admission / acceptance into a accredited College or University
- Have a demonstrated financial and unmet need as measured by the students accepting College or University
- Show evidence of leadership through work, school and / or community service activities
- Complete the application essay: For us to better understand your interests, goals, motivations and experiences please submit an essay, maximum of 500 words.
- Submit two letters of recommendation, including one from a high school faculty member
- Must include a current photo of yourself

REFERENCES
Must provide two (2) letters of recommendation from non-family member with at least one from your school. Letters must include addresses and telephone numbers of persons providing the reference.

INTERVIEW
Finalists will be contacted and interviewed by the Scholarship Committee.
