We will send a "Received Application" email when we begin processing your application. Processing usually takes about 24-48 hours, but please keep in mind that we can only process applications while we are open Tuesday through Friday from 12pm - 4pm. Laurens County Humane Society is a private, non-profit organization and we reserve the right to approve and deny adoption applications at our discretion.

Very often, the vet's office in unable to find your pet(s) account information, which delays processing of your application. Are the vet records in your name, your spouse's name, your maiden name, parent's name, etc.?
