All Youth Ages Tryout Form

Tryouts (Ages 5-11)
Thank you for visiting the City of Plano Swimmers. If you are interested in having your child try out, please complete the below form. Your Swimmer Will Be Placed On Our Waitlist And We Will Contact You For The Next Tryout. We anticipate our next tryout to be in Early Spring.

Your child will be asked to swim a minimum of 25 yards (demonstrating both freestyle & backstroke) without stopping or touching the bottom or sides of the pool or lane lines. They need to be comfortable in deep water.

If your swimmer cannot meet the above requirements, swimmers ages 5-8 may be invited to the program if they can submerge their body to retrieve a toy at the bottom of the pool (3 feet of water).
