Duties:
· Analyze operation of computer systems to create an effective workflow environment that improves accountability and performance
· Evaluate existing systems to determine effectiveness and suggest changes to meet organizational requirements
· Implement and optimize transportation management software systems
· Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture
· Provide guidelines for implementing secure systems to customers or installation teams
· Oversee all information technology system projects and report results to key stakeholders
· Support, operate, and maintain computer systems and PCS software applications
· Interpret, define, and apply methods and procedures in accordance with PCS Software
· Evaluate existing systems to determine effectiveness and suggest changes to meet organizational requirements
· Monitor, analyze and test PCS software during implementation in order to assure quality standards are met
· Recommend and implement process, organizational, and system changes to support key team objectives
· Improve testing strategies and utilize databases to create reports and presentations on any defects of Truckload Dispatch Management System
· Define PCS Software acceptance criteria with product owner and product development
· Ensure all internally software applications are thoroughly tested, and the results are documented
· Provide usability feedback to the PCS software users on end-user facing applications
· Travel 60% or more of the year within the United States to install and configure software, and train clients and brokers on utilization
