Dear Tangueros and Tangueras,

Due to the increase of COVID-19 cases in Massachusetts, particularly Boston, the city has decided to cancel all events, including events held outside.

I am disappointed and sad, but we have no choice but to cancel our Annual Spooktakular Halloween Milonga on Saturday, October 31. This is the first time we have had to cancel this fun event and we have been doing it for 20 years. The Greenway and I tried to convince the City to let us have it, but no luck.

From the many registrations we have received, it promised to be a fun Milonga, but it is not possible.

Thank you to each and every one of you who came to our Milonga on Sunday afternoons. Thank you for your donations. Your donations helped us pay for our permit and the additional insurance so that we could legally be in both spots.

We will be working on other events and will keep you posted. In the meantime have a fun and Spooktakular Halloween and stay safe.

This year is very unique year so why not celebrate Halloween in a unique way?

NOTE: that Halloween is on Saturday and not Sunday

We will be dancing on Halloween Night--Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 3-6pm at Rowes Wharf with spectacular music by DJ David who will keep us dancing so we can stay warm.

Come wearing your costume! We won't be having costume prizes this year, for obvious reasons, but I am sure your costume will be as spectacular as it is every year.

It has been a tradition in Boston and one of the most SPOOKTAKULAR Milonga of the year--and the costumes are outstanding
