To qualify for the Referral Bonus, the employee submitting the referral to Berg must fall within the following guidelines:
- The employee who submitted the referral form:
- Is not currently employed at a director level and above.
- Is not a Human Resources personnel.
- Is not the hiring manager or obtain any authority over hiring the referred candidate.
- Employee must submit Employee Referral form to Human Resources.
- Individual you are referring must put your name as the reason as to how they were referred to Berg on the application.
- Corporate referrals must submit the individuals resume.
- The referring employee must agree to have his/her name used when the company contacts the candidate.
To qualify for the Referral Bonus, the individual that you are referring to Berg must fall within the following guidelines:
- The referral date cannot be earlier than the date the job opening is posted.
- The hiring of a referred employee must occur within 180 days (six months) of the initial referral date.
- The referral must represent the candidate’s first contact with The Berg Group.
- Temporary, summer, contract and former employees of The Berg Group are not eligible candidates for referral awards.
- **For Field referrals, If the refered employee has been laid off due to lack of work for over a year and is eligible for rehire you may qualify for a referral bonus, pending superintendent approval.
Refered canidate and employee must be employed at time of payment.
Only candidates who meet the essential qualifications for the position will be considered. All candidates will be evaluated for employment consistent with company policies and procedures. Any disputes or interpretations of this employee referral program will be handled through Human Resources.
