  • LOCAL QUALIFIER - HOST CLUB AGREEMENT

     

    Please Note: In order to be eligible to host a local qualifier, your club must have an active PGA of Canada member employed at the club. By completing this form to host an RBC PGA Scramble local qualifier, the CLUB agrees to the following:

    HOSTING

    The PGA of Canada is so fortunate to have the support of some of Canada’s largest corporations with this program. To keep the program viable and continue to provide world class golf experiences for golfers across the country, the CLUB may be asked to host teams representing a program sponsor. Sponsor teams or representatives may contribute to the Local Qualifier through greeting the competitors on a hole or prior to the round, speaking post round and/or providing gifts/prizing. Should an event be cancelled for any reason, the CLUB agrees to host the sponsor team(s) on the original event date, or provide a free foursome pass for an alternate date.

    DATE SELECTION

    In order manage the event schedule, the selected event date may not be changed or postponed after March 1st. Should your event need to be cancelled for any reason, we require a minimum of 14 days’ notice. Any event cancelled within 14 days of the event date, will incur an admin fee of $75.

    SIGNAGE

    Will install seven (7) blade flags provided. Instructions on how to assemble and where to install will be included with the kit when it arrives prior to the event.

    REGISTRATION

    Assign a representative from the club to conduct registration upon player arrivals. The registration table will be decorated with the provided table cover.

    SOFTWARE

    Will use the Golf Genius software provided for all tournament related matters such as: pairings, registration, score cards, scoring, etc. To ensure the accuracy of scoring to the standards of the RBC PGA Scramble, it is imperative that all scores are entered into the Golf Genius system immediately following play. Any alterations of this must be pre-approved by the PGA of Canada. Tech support is offered through Golf Genius and the PGA of Canada.

    IMAGERY

    Will take pictures to capture the signage, registration, golfers and champions with RBC PGA Scramble.

    EVENT REGISTRATION

    The preferred method of registration is through www.rbcpgascramble.com, however, any clubs that are pre-approved to collect registration within the CLUB, all player information must be inputted into Golf Genius at least three (3) business days in advance, so the accuracy of the Handicap Factors can be checked. All staff should be updated on the program in the weeks leading up to the event to answer incoming questions from participants.

    MARKETING MATERIALS

    The CLUB will utilize the marketing materials (posters, email templates, etc.) provided by the PGA of Canada throughout the year to attract the maximum amount of participants

    PRIZING

    Prizes for the top teams at each Local Qualifier will be provided by our partners at Titleist and FootJoy. Those prizes will include (subject to change):

    (1) The winning team in Local Qualifiers with 10 teams or less will receive a great prize package.

    (2) The winning team in Local Qualifiers with 11 teams or more will receive (choice of one Titleist Vokey SM8 wedge with preferred loft and finish).

    INVOICING

    The CLUB will send an invoice for any outstanding fees to the PGA of Canada within 14 days of the event date

    Fill out this form to register your Club/Facility to be the host of one of our local qualifying events. We will now be requesting the contact information from a second person at the facility. As well, we will need the correct shipping address for the facility, as P.O. boxes will not be accepted.
