    8-Week Handbuilding Intensive Class $350+hst

    Hand-building classes are taught to all levels. Pinch-pots, coiled pots, and slab-built work are all taught and their techniques are combined to create original and unique masterpieces. A broad spectrum of glazes are available to the hand-builder. Students will learn to create bowls, mugs, platters, plates, vases, wall plaques, jewellery and a variety of other sculptures. The instructor begins each week with a handbuilding demonstration teaching important techniques which students will apply when building their creations. What the student makes is entirely up to them and their imagination!

    Cancellation and refund policy

    Due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 48 hours before a scheduled class. This gives us the opportunity to fill the class. You may cancel by phone. If you have to cancel your class, we offer you a credit to your account if you cancel before the 48 hours, but do not offer refunds. You may use these credits towards any future class. However, if you do not cancel prior to the 48 hours, you will lose the deposit for the class. The owner has the only right to be flexible here.

     

    Clay Damage

    Kiln clay explosions are unlikely but they do happen. In the event of a clay piece being damaged due to a kiln explosion, we are happy to provide emotional support and offer you a chance to come in and remake your art piece. Refunds are not provided for damaged clay due to kiln explosions. Please note each artist is responsible for ensuring pieces are securely attached in order to avoid breakage.
