Registration will resume through access to gsLearn beginning December 8th, 2020. Registrants are required to be current or lifetime Girl Scout members, except where noted.

    Advanced Camp Training (ACT), 4/24/2021 Date: 1/23/2021, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm. Location: Camp Indian Echo, Hudson. Take your camping experience one step further. Learn about girl/adult partnerships, tent camping readiness, advanced camp skills, including compass, trail markers, hacksaws, axes, knots and lashing, and dive into Leave No Trace principles. Required for Tent Camping. Participants will need to bring a tent and lunch. *Pre-requisites: Stepping Out On-Demand Webinar, BOLT & Traveling Troops*

    Advanced Outdoor Cooking - Dutch Oven Extreme, 3/20/2021 Date: 3/20/2021, 11 am to 4 pm. Location: Camp Indian Echo, Hudson. Advanced Outdoor Cooking Training for adults and one girl (this is not a troop training). The skills taught to both the adult and girl are intended to encourage more girl participation in advanced outdoor cooking. This class will focus on the theme of using Dutch Ovens for breakfast, lunch & dinner This class will focus on outdoor cooking fun and delicious foods to make using Dutch Ovens. *Pre-requisites: BOLT

Advanced Outdoor Cooking Training for adults and one girl (this is not a troop training). The skills taught to both the adult and girl are intended to encourage more girl participation in advanced outdoor cooking. This class will focus on the theme of using solar and box oven cooking for low impact meals. This class will focus on outdoor cooking fun and delicious foods. *Pre-requisites: BOLT

This course provides basic outdoor instruction for taking your girls CABIN camping. Instruction includes fire safety, knife safety, knots, outdoor cooking using wood fire, charcoal, and propane. An introduction to Leave No Trace Principles and girl-led outdoor experience progressions (planning for & doing) is also included. A BOLT trained adult is responsible for training the girls in these skills, along with all other adults attending troop camping trips.

Be trained to operate the kiln for your troop or service unit. Learn the stages of ceramics from greenware to glazed pieces. Learn to make pinch pots, coil pots, and slab pots.

Join us for one day at the fourth annual Showcase of Skills– Camp Greenblood. You’ll learn outdoor skills, arts, and tips and traditions to pass down to your troop!
