  • Delgado Community College Summer Financial Aid Request Form

    You are required to have a 2020 - 2021 FAFSA on file with Delgado's Financial Aid Office to receive federal financial aid for the Summer 2021 session. Delgado will begin processing Summer Request forms on Monday, March 01, 2021.
  • Friday, May 14th: Priority Deadline for Financial Aid Documents

    All documents received by May 14 will be reviewed before the first payment deadline. Documents received after this deadline will be processed in the order in which they are received. Documents take 5-7 days to review in non-peak periods and can take 7-10 days to process during peak periods.

  • Pell Information for SUMMER ONLY:

    • A student who has been full-time for the Fall and the Spring semester must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours to be considered for the Pell Grant.
    • A student who has been less than full-time for the Fall and the Spring semester can be enrolled in less than 6 credit hours to be considered for the Pell Grant.
    • As always all students must be enrolled in 6 credit hours to be considered for Loans.
  • Loan Information for SUMMER ONLY:

    If you have reached the annual loan limit, you will not be eligible to receive additional loans for the summer session. It does not matter at which colleges you received these loans from. 

    Students who have attended Fall and Spring semesters are offered the maximum amount of allowed loan dollars per federal guidelines. If a student has accepted all loans offered and attended more than 6 credit hours in the Fall and Spring, there are no loan dollars available for the summer semester.
