How to Scan Your Blue Badge Barcode

1.Find the Barcode – The barcode is located on the back of your Blue Badge, in the bottom left corner.

2. Start the Scan – Tap the Scan Barcode button below.

3.Grant Camera Access – If prompted, tap Allow to let your device access the camera.

4.Position the Barcode – Place your Blue Badge on a flat surface for stability. Hold your phone steady and align the green line in the middle of the barcode. The scanner will automatically detect it.

5.Confirm the Scan – Once scanned successfully, the barcode number will appear below in green.

How to Enter Your ITSO Number

Providing your ITSO number will help us verify your evidence more quickly. Even if you enter it, you’ll still need to upload a clear photo of your Saltire Card on the next page.

1. Find the ITSO number – The ITSO symbol is on the front of your Saltire Card, and the ITSO number is printed beside it.

2. Type the number – Enter the full ITSO number exactly as it appears on your card, without any spaces.

3. Check your entry – Confirm that the digits match your card before you continue.

4. Click NEXT

5. On the next page – Please upload a clear photo of your Saltire Card.

If you choose not to have an emergency contact, the QR code will simply link to our website.

Your emergency contact's number will be stored in a QR code on the back of your ID card this allows quick access without needing a data connection or login in an emergency.
