The nominations deadline is Monday, November 23rd.
Please be aware that nominees MUST be current members of IACM to be eligible for ballot consideration. If the nominee is not a member, the nominee must proceed to IAfCM.org to purchase a one-year membership.
If nominating an IACM member (other than yourself in a self-nomination), you must have the consent of the prospective nominee to submit this application.
Board members are expected to attend the July pre-conference and post-conference meetings, as well as attend and be engaged in any virtual meetings and email discussions conducted in between. There is a minimum of four (4) meetings throughout the year, most are held virtually.
We have President-Elect and two (2) At-Large Board Member positions we are seeking nominations for.
President-Elect:
- A four-year track beginning with one (1) year as President-Elect, two (2) years as President, and one (1) year as Past-President.
- The President works with the Executive Director to secure future conference host sites.
- The President is responsible for setting and executing the agenda for all board meetings.
- The President works alongside IACM leadership in setting an agenda to move the organization forward with.
At-Large:
- At-Large Board Members serve for two (2) years beginning with the close of IACM 2021 and ending with the close of IACM 2023.
- At-Large Board Members may chair and/or participate in a variety of critical committees.
The Nominations & Elections committee will follow up with nominees. A nomination does not guarantee a place on the ballot. Long-term presence in the Society is not a prerequisite to be on the ballot, so we encourage junior, mid-career, and senior faculty alike to be nominated! Nominees will be requested to provide a one-page background for members to be able to review as well as a headshot image for the voting process.
Please contact Executive Director Brandon Charpied with any questions.
