  • 2nd Monitoring Workshop

    1pm - 4pm Saturday 18 September

    Barnes Bay CWA Hall

We are excited to hold another workshop focusing on identifying and monitoring our little, but endangered friend - the Forty-spotted pardalote.
It is specifically structured for people who have (or would like to have) next boxes on their land.
Sally Bryant - Tasmania's indomitable warrior for the 40-spot - will lead us through:

    • how to positively ID the 40-spot by sight and call
    • what to watch for to see if the nest box is being used to fledge chicks
    • how to record your observations and share them with the recovery team

This will help us build a better picture of population trends, and help us work out how to help this plucky little bird SURVIVE and THRIVE.
