    MAG Sponsor benefits include the ability to submit an Educational Webinar Proposal for the Merchant Advisory Group.

    Merchant payment professionals value the education MAG offers. External forces such as disruptive technology and economic uncertainty create the need for strategies to deal with the ever-changing payment industry.

    To submit a webinar proposal for consideration in our annual webinar schedule, please complete this form. In addition, the MAG will accept rolling submissions throughout the year for future consideration.

    SUBMISSION COLLECTION:

    • MAG Annual Sponsors in good standing are eligible for submissions and consideration.
    • Non-sponsor or ad-hoc submissions will be accepted and reviewed based on provided criteria.

    PRIMARY SUBMISSION CRITERIA:

    1. Intriguing and concise title that conveys the importance and relevance of the subject.
    2. Overall quality, with well-defined focus and topic timeliness.
    3. Introduction of emerging subjects or topics which appeal to varying experience levels.
    4. Provide learning objectives, use cases and takeaways for attendees.

    PREFERRED SUBMISSION CRITERIA:

    1. 1 to 3 speakers with varying perspectives on the topic is preferred.
    2. Original topics (not repeated from other conferences) are encouraged.
    3. Attendee participation, interactive content or creative delivery formats encouraged.

    WEBINAR DETAILS:

    1. Webinars are generally 60 minutes in duration including a few minutes for Q & A.
    2. MAG accepts a maximum of 3 webinar submissions per sponsor company.
    3. Including a merchant presenter is desirable but not required.

    WEBINAR TOPICS:

    1. Cost of acceptance: tips for optimizing interchange rates
    2. Chargebacks/fraud: fraud prevention & remediation
    3. Spring and Fall Brand Release overview (Acquirers)
    4. eCommerce: authorization challenges, PINless, etc.
    5. International topics: PSD2/SCA
    6. Cash management best practices

    PRESENTERS AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:

    1. Compensation is not provided.
    2. Focus on education, and eliminate sales content, messaging and demos.
    3. Provide speaker information and materials in a timely fashion as requested.
    4. Use provided MAG PowerPoint Template.
    5. Do not violate any copyright interest or proprietary and/or personal rights of others.
    6. Agree to speaker engagement terms provided to submitters upon selection.
    7. MAG reserves the right to modify any proposed webinar, including topic, content, format, coordinator and/or proposed speakers, as MAG deems appropriate.

     

  • Session Learning Objectives

    Learning objectives are brief descriptions of specific actions your audience will know or be able to do after having attended your session. Express learning objectives in clear, action verbs. For example: Attendees will be able to apply xyz analysis to understand options.
