  • ELIGIBILITY FOR OFFICE

    Please complete ONLY ONE of the following two sections and sign the Statement of Disclosure and Statement of Consent at the bottom of this form, then click the button to submit it to TCTA Headquarters.

  • I. CANDIDATES FOR PRESIDENT-ELECT AND SPECIALTY DIRECTOR

    (Please read the following section and answer the question).

    Article 4, Section 4.2 Number and Qualifications, of the TCTA Bylaws states:

    To be eligible to serve as a Director an individual must have been an Active member of the Association for the consecutive four-year period prior to election or appointment to office and remain an Active member of the Association in good standing throughout his or her term as a Director.

    Article 4, Section 4.4 Election; Term of Office, of the TCTA Bylaws states:

    No Director shall serve in the same place or specialty area for more than two consecutive terms, except that a partial term shall not count against this limitation.

    Directors may serve any number of consecutive terms.

  • II. CANDIDATES FOR ADVISORY COUNCILMEMBER-AT-LARGE [open to ethnic-minority candidates]

    Article 5, Subsection 5.2.2 At-Large Advisory Council Members, of the TCTA Bylaws states:

    No two (2) At-Large Advisory Council members shall serve from the same local association concurrently as long as there is more than one local association in a district.

    Article 5, Subsection 5.2.4 Qualifications, of the TCTA Bylaws states:

    To be eligible to serve as an Advisory Council member, an individual must have been an Active member of the Association for the consecutive four-year period prior to election to the Advisory Council and remain an Active member of the Association in good standing throughout his or her term as a member of the Advisory Council.

    Article 5, Subsection 5.2.5 Term Length, of the TCTA Bylaws states:

    Each individual elected as an At-Large Advisory Council member shall serve a one-year term. The term begins on a date specified in the Administrative Procedures. No individual may serve more than five (5) consecutive years on the Advisory Council (regardless of whether such individual served as a District Advisory Council Member or an At-Large Advisory Council Member).
