    Please read the following information fully and carefully before starting!

    What is This?
    This form includes your Snow Valley staff “paperwork” that you are required to complete for employment. This is your Snow Valley Labour Agreement.  It will be submitted entirely electronically to your department supervisor.  This form is secure, and submissions are only received by your department supervisor.

    How to Complete Your Form
    We recommend completing this form on a computer and ensuring you have the latest version of your preferred browser. Please take your time in confirming all information you enter is correct! If you are prepared with the required information/items below it will take you approximately 5 minutes to complete the form.

    Before getting started you will need to have easy access to:

    • Your SIN number
    • A PDF or photo file of your banking information for direct deposit (please name the file with your first and last name). Needs to include:
      • Name/names that appear on account
      • Transit Number (5 digits)
      • Institution/Bank Number (usually 3 digits)
      • Account Number
      • If you were a staff member in 24-25 and your banking information has not changed you will not need the above.

    Submitting Your Form

    When you complete all required fields, you will click “Submit” - do not close your form window unless you have clicked Submit! If you have done everything correctly you will see a Thank You page letting you know your form was submitted successfully. You will also get an email confirmation. If you do not get a Thank You page or an email (check your junk mail too) your form was not successfully submitted, and you will need to redo.

    Don't Forget

    • You are also required to complete the Federal TD1 Tax Form and the Provincial TDON Tax Form.
    • If you are new employee to Snow Valley this season you will also need to create an account and upload a photo in the Snow Valley e-store. 
    • If you are returning staff and would like a new pass photo, login to your e-store account and upload a new photo before your department deadline.
    • Later in the onboarding process you will be required to sign a release of liability for your staff pass.  This will be emailed to you.

  • Snow Valley Resorts (1987) Ltd. (“Snow Valley”) hereby agrees to employ you in the selected department on a fixed term for the length of the period commencing _______ and ending March 27, 2026 ("Season"). Unless agreed beforehand, in writing otherwise, your employment shall end on March 27, 2026. Although best efforts will be made to maintain a regular schedule of shifts, there is no guarantee of any minimum number of hours or shifts at any time during the Winter Season.

    You agree that employment in one or more season(s) does not obligate Snow Valley to employ you in the next season or in any other season.

    This agreement may be terminated by Snow Valley at any time before the end of the Season without notice or warning in the event that it has just cause to do so. For purposes of this agreement, "just cause" is defined as wilful misconduct, disobedience, or wilful neglect of duty, as set out in the Ontario Employment Standards Act, 2000 ("ESA").

    This agreement may also be terminated by Snow Valley at any time before the end of the Season without cause by providing advance notice of termination (or pay in lieu thereof) equal to one (1) week. You will also receive any additional pay, including statutory severance pay, if applicable, equivalent to your minimum entitlements under the ESA should those entitlements exceed one week's notice. You agree to accept this compensation in complete satisfaction of any claim that you may have against Snow Valley or its officers, employees, directors in any way relating to the termination of your employment.

    You may terminate this agreement at any time by providing one (1) week’s notice to Snow Valley, and Snow Valley shall have the right to waive such notice in whole or in part, and subject to payment of all wages to the actual last day of employment.

    Snow Valley will add 4% of your wages earned for vacation pay. vacation pay as it is earned. This amount will be added to every direct deposit.

    I have been provided the opportunity to review the above terms and conditions relating to my employment with Snow Valley and understand and agree to the above.
