Please use/complete the questions and thought joggers below as a loose template.

If you would like to free write your article, while we don't have a hard limit on word count, approximately 300 - 500 words (3 - 4 paragraphs) is ideal.

Introduce Yourself

• Share your name and the street you live on.
• Who are the members of your family?
• Where are you from?
• How did you meet your spouse?
• How long have you lived in the neighborhood?
• Is there anything your neighbors might know you for? (Authored a book, own a business, have a really gorgeous home/yard, drive a certain car, played a sport/activity at a local school, etc.)

Highlight the Charity / Nonprofit / Philanthropy

• Which organization do you volunteer with?
• What is the organization’s mission?
• Who does the organization benefit?
• What makes the organization unique or does it specialize in?
• How did you learn about the organization? What inspired you to get involved?
• What do you find most fulfilling about your involvement?
• What have been the highlights / biggest impacts of your experience so far
• What is your dream/end goal in regard to the charities/philanthropies you’re involved with?

If there is more than one organization, follow the same format in a new paragraph.

CONCLUSION

• Share How to Get Involved
• What are you most grateful for in respect to your life and your involvement with this organization?
• What advice do you have for someone in the community who wants to get involved with the organization?
• Feel free to add whatever else you would like to share on this topic.
