Expression of Interest Form
Performance Pathway Partner
As part of Badminton Australia’s (BA) High Performance System, BA is seeking Expressions of Interest from affiliated badminton clubs/associations or schools with experienced coaches to join our new Performance Pathway Partner (PPP) program.
Performance Pathway Partners selected will be part of the High Performance System and will be integral in the development of athletes and coaches for selection into Australian national represetative badminton teams and programs.
Each organisation shall be selected for an initial period of 2 years.
This initiative is designed to support affiliated clubs/associations, schools and coaches who specialise in the development of talented high performing athletes. The successful organisations selected to be part of the program will work closely with the BA High Performance Team and be provided with a range of opportunities to further enhance their badminton performance program and business.

Please note the following:
Support for Organisations selected will include:
- Recognition on the Badminton Australia website as an official Performance Pathway Partner
- A banner to place in the organisation venue stating that the club is a Performance Pathway Partner
- Receive annual site visits from Badminton Australia staff coaching and/or administration staff
- Provide coaching support resources (provided to all registered coaches)
- Receive information from Badminton Australia about AIS professional development opportunities
Guidelines
Organisations seeking consideration as a PPP must have the following:
- To implement and maintain a player performance pathway program that has the goal of developing badminton players to represent their state and/or Australia
- To ensure selected players attend State National Camps held in their state
- To be affiliated with their state/territory badminton organisation or have a letter of support from their state badminton organisation to implement a Performance Pathway Partner program
- To register all organisation participants as members with their state badminton organisation (including those not part of the player performance pathway program.
- Ensure a minimum of one coach as a a BWF Level 1 qualified coach or above and to ensure all coaches within the club are registered badminton coaches with Badminton Australia
- Ensure the development and implementation of a Child Safe Policy and Workplace Health and Safety Policy
- To ensure all players, coaches and parents part of the organisation compete the Sport Integrity Australia requirements located here - https://www.badminton.org.au/integrity-resources/
- Maintain a Workplace Health and Safety Policy
- Maintain a suitable venue to provide a high performance training environment
- Have at least one coach present at least one national and one state camp each year
- Have at least one club person attend Performance Pathway Partner meetings held during the year
- Implement the Badminton Australia 5-12 year old introductory program at their organisation
