What kind of volunteer position are you looking for? (select all that apply)
Adoption Team Processor - Adoptions are the heartbeat of our rescue. Come help animals find their forever homes by assisting in processing incoming applications by conducting home checks, references, landlords, and veterinarians!
Foster Team Processor - Fosters are a VITAL part of rescues! Finding temporary homes for our rescue dogs will enable us to continue to rescue while our dogs are being taken care of. Come help process foster applications by conducting phone interviews with references and landlords.
Adoptions Team Coordinator - As an adoption coordinator you would be assigned to a dog that is ready for adoption! Your main job will be to set up meet and greets and follow up until your assign dog find their forever home!
Vetting Coordinator - Keeping track of records, sending records out and emailing records to vets.
Transport - If you have a car and live in San Diego this can be a great role! From driving dogs to vet visits and local adoption events, to transporting dogs across the border when they have found a foster and/or delivering supplies for our sanctuary.
Bio Writer - Once our dogs are ready for adoption, you would be in charge of writing their adoption bio to post on our websites.
Social Media Team - Help plan, organize, and coordinate content for our Instagram and Facebook, as well as assist with creating posts and reels.
San Diego Events Team - Believe it or not, we don’t have that many volunteers that live in San Diego. You would be on the ground helping us keep fighting the good fight! This includes volunteering at our local adoption events and even group trips to assist at our sanctuary in Mexico or simply help rescue dogs.
Puppy Party Event Coordinator - This person helps make every event a success from start to finish! They’re the main contact for the client, reaching out when someone wants to book and making sure all the details are set. The coordinator sends the contract, organizes volunteers and fosters, and checks in after the event to see how things went. They’ll also send out the Yelp review link afterward to help spread the word about our rescue.
Puppy Party Event Lead - They help volunteers and fosters get set up, make sure everything runs smoothly, and keep things organized until the very end. Their goal is to make sure everyone — people and pups — have a great time!
