Artisan Society was formed to promote the work of Artisans who create products within Australia with their own skilled hands, or working with small teams. We are developing our accreditation to support local made products created by artisans with real world experience, who meet our definition of Artisan:
Creating product with skilled hands in Australia
Small batch / individual items
High quality end product meeting legal and safety legislation
Making with integrity & heart
Business values aligned with quality, authenticity and supporting Australian small business
Once you have submitted this form we will review and let you know if we have questions.
We will then invoice you for $65 annual accreditation and once paid we will email you to let you know who will audit your application, and let you know if we need additional documentation or information.
Why is this a formal process?
Artisan Society Accreditation is currently being assessed by IP Australia as a membership accreditation and we are working towards is an accreditation standard, whichrequires an audit of our members from the initial stages.
What if I am not an artisan yet and I would like to know what to do to become one?
Join our membership programme to learn from existing artisans, share ideas and develop skills to progress to accreditation.
